You will be part of a support organization that handles issues related to registration, archives, committee administration, security, and communication, where the area manager reports directly to the municipal director.

In communication, we are responsible for both external and internal channels and their content, strategic and operational communication support, crisis communication, and management support. The unit is also responsible for coordinating the municipality's work regarding information security and other relevant legislation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a communication strategist, you will have a broad and varied role where you work both strategically and operationally. You support operations and management teams in matters related to information and communication. With us, you will have a central role in an organization where communication is an important part of organizational development. You will be part of an engaged and competent team with close collaboration within the unit and with operations throughout the municipality. You will work with modern tools and have the opportunity to influence work methods, structures, and the development of the municipality's communication.

You will:

• act as a strategic advisor and contribute a communicative perspective in management contexts
• lead, coach, and coordinate work on information security and data protection
• ensure good change communication and channel strategy
• support managers and key personnel with both planning and implementation of communication work
• produce and publish content in our channels
• be responsible for and develop the municipality's website and web strategy
• lead projects with colleagues and external actors and also contribute your expertise to others' projects
• be part of the municipality's crisis organization and contribute to crisis communication
• develop the municipality's information and communication work together with others

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying should have:

• a relevant university degree in communication or another education deemed equivalent by the employer
• experience in qualified communication work, including work with information security
• experience in providing strategic advice at management level
• experience collaborating with media
• excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written
• ability to follow the principles of clear language and Swedish writing rules

It is advantageous if you have experience in public operations, and we want you to be able to work both independently and collaboratively with others, as well as to switch between strategic and operational perspectives.

It is also advantageous if you have knowledge and experience of working in a web-focused organization where digital communication is the first choice and have experience from various CMS systems.
